About Me
Ashna Suchak, Registered Social Worker, RSW, MSW
I’m a Registered Social Worker in Calgary, dedicated to providing individual and couples counselling in a safe, respectful, inclusive, and non-judgmental space. I believe that healing happens through connection: with someone you trust and with yourself and I’m here to walk alongside you on that journey.​
My path to becoming a mental health therapist has traversed many landscapes, beginning with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Queen’s University, followed by a Bachelor and Master of Social Work with a clinical specialization from the University of Calgary. These experiences shaped my understanding of human behavior, resilience, and emotional well-being.​
At Alpine Meadows Counselling in Calgary, Alberta, I embrace the spirit of exploration and growth. Whether we’re navigating the cliffs of anxiety, processing the rocky terrain of trauma, walking the winding paths of grief, or exploring the forests of self-discovery, my role is to guide, support, and empower you. Through individual and couples counselling, we’ll uncover hidden strengths, forge paths toward healing, and cultivate the resilience needed to face life’s challenges.​
Offered Services

Individual Therapy
Individual telehealth or in-person sessions. Ashna collaborates with each client to create a personalised treatment plan in a safe, supportive space to explore emotions, overcome challenges, and build resilience.

Couples Therapy
Telehealth or in-person couples sessions. Ashna supports partners stuck in conflict or disconnection, helping rebuild trust, improve communication, and create a stronger, more intentional relationship.

EMDR
EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain safely reprocess distressing memories, reduce emotional intensity, shift old patterns, and increase grounding and present-moment awareness.
